Thanks to PICU team and surgeons, son on road to recovery

During the holiday season we think of presents as what we receive, but thanks to all the doctors and PICUteam at Akron Children’s Hospital, my husband and I get to hold our sweet baby boy, the only GIFT a parent could want for Christmas. The team at Akron Children’s has been taking care of our son, Bryce, since Nov. 18, when a blood vessel burst in his head.
We cannot begin to thank Akron Children’s staff enough for the knowledge, love and care they have given Bryce over the past month or so. Bryce was not doing well over a month ago, and now he is on the road to recovery.

The Internet has become a leading source of health information for families, and the Akron Children’s Hospital YouTube channelhas been no exception. There have been 144,118 views of our videos in 2011, a 33 percent increase over our previous high set in 2010. And we still have a couple weeks left!
